The master of materials is bringing two new vibes to one of its most impressive timepieces. Released last year, the high end fake Hublot MP-10 watches had an instant wow factor, even for those who didn’t care for the brand (which, according to preliminary 2025 ABTW survey data, most of you don’t). That may have been because it doesn’t really look like a Hublot in the Fusion or Big Bang sense, but instead occupies Hublot’s Exceptional Timepieces segment, a smaller niche of the brand’s catalog reserved for true showstoppers (which is saying something when talking about Hublot). This year, the brand is unveiling two new iterations of the UK Swiss replica Hublot MP-10 Tourbillon watches, one ceramic, one sapphire, once again demonstrating its ability to make any watch out of the materials.
The structure of the new MP-10s is identical to the original titanium version, just made out of black ceramic or clear sapphire. The case remains 41.5mm across with a 54.1mm lug-to-lug and a staggering 22.4mm thickness. Yes, it’s large, but this is a halo piece. It’s meant to impress and be seen, not to slip under a cuff at a 10:00am meeting. The black ceramic case, of course, still has a large sapphire crystal to show off the inner workings of this impressive timepiece, but the ends are made of a microblasted ceramic, and the 1:1 perfect fake watches are paired with a black rubber strap that actually comes over the top and underneath the case, secured with two bolts and equipped with a ceramic and titanium deployant clasp. On the other hand, the sapphire edition is completely transparent, though Hublot has offered contrast between the sapphires by polishing the case components and leaving the display crystal simply AR-coated. Instead of black rubber, the sapphire MP-10 is paired with a transparent rubber strap, keeping the look going all the way around the wrist.
Like many of the MP high quality copy watches that have come before it (like the MP-05, MP-09, MP-11, and MP-13), the MP-10 is a true spectacle. There’s nothing one could consider traditional in how the movement functions or displays the time. The hours and minutes are under what Hublot calls an “invisible magnifying glass” (though it’s very clearly right there…), which ensures that the barrels used to display both are readable. Their numerals are lumed, though given the grey hue, may be dim. Flanking the time display is probably the most novel part of the MP-10, its linear mass winding system. Instead of a traditional rotor, two 22k white gold (with a decorative cover and plated to match each model) slide up and down on shafts to generate power.

Like the time display, the power reserve is indicated by a rotating barrel with a fixed pointer. The barrel is colored with luminescent green, orange, and red to let you know how close you are to the watch running down. Given the show put on with the display side, it’s perhaps not surprising that the reverse is a bit underwhelming. It’s all supporting structure, sliders, and shafts. Hublot recently collaborated with a cat, so nothing is off the table. It’s nice to know that feline partnerships haven’t kept the brand from producing truly incredible timepieces like the MP-10.
